How to shoot a bow and arrow.

Shooting a bow and arrow requires some materials. You will need a bow, an arrow, and something or someone to shoot at. First pick up the bow in your non- dominant hand. Make sure that the bow you are using is the correct bow for your grip. Right-handed bow if you are right handed and left handed bow if you are left-handed. With your other hand place an arrow on the arrow rest just above the grip of the bow. Place the arrow’s nock on the drawstring. While keeping the elbow slightly bent outwards. Extend your arm straight out in front of you. With your free hand, draw the string back towards the side of your face. Make sure to hold for three seconds while aiming. Once you feel you’ve gotten the aim you want, release the drawstring. Repeat as needed then retrieve arrows when safe. Note: If shooting a person remember that law enforcement can trace arrows back to you. It is a good ideal to not leave them behind as evidence.

  1. Your post is very helpful, thank you. When it comes to hunting, some people prefer to do it the old-fashioned way, and that’s with a bow and arrow. It may seem simple enough to use, but there’s a lot that goes into learning how to shoot a bow and arrow, as well as getting the right equipment to suit you and your needs. See more http://survival-mastery.com/skills/scouting/how-to-shoot-a-bow-and-arrow.html
